Accessibility Statement

1. Accessibility standard

We work to make the Service accessible in line with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and aim to meet Israeli Standard SI 5568, which is based on the W3C's WCAG 2.1 guidelines, at level AA.

2. What we've done

Among other things, we've made these adjustments:

• semantic headings, regions and lists that make navigation easier with screen readers;
• keyboard navigation with a clearly visible focus;
• accessible labels (ARIA) for buttons and icons;
• full Hebrew and English support, right-to-left and left-to-right;
• a responsive design that fits any screen size and lets you enlarge text without losing content;
• attention to color contrast, and a dark mode that follows your device settings;
• a list view of every meetup shown on the map.

3. Browsers and assistive technology

The Service is built for the current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, on desktop and mobile, and for common screen readers such as NVDA and VoiceOver.

4. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible:

• the interactive Google Maps map, whose accessibility depends on the provider. Every meetup is also available in list view;
• content uploaded by users, such as profile photos and meetup descriptions, which we can't guarantee is accessible;
• third-party components and services outside our control;
• new pages and components still in development.

We keep improving accessibility on an ongoing basis.

5. Accessibility of meetups

The Operator has no physical premises and doesn't serve the public in person. Meetups take place at locations hosts choose, and the Operator is not responsible for their accessibility. If the accessibility of a meeting place matters to you, check with the host in the meetup chat before you go.
